The Fourth of July is almost here, which means that people everywhere will want to watch fireworks! If you’re in the Orlando area but aren’t headed to Walt Disney World, there are plenty of other choices. This year it is especially important to celebrate, since it’s the country’s 250th Anniversary, and the Fourth of July falls on a Saturday!

You don’t have to travel far from Walt Disney World to visit Island H2O Water Park. It’s located just a few minutes from Disney’s Animal Kingdom, outside of Margaritaville Resort. Island H2O Water Park is a great place to spend a day in the water without breaking the bank.

On July 4, Island H2O will hold Stars, Stripes & Splashes. The park will open at 10:30 AM, and will have extended hours until 10:30 that evening. There will be a DJ at the wave pool to help everyone celebrate. At 10:00 PM, the fireworks at Sunset Walk will take place. You’ll see them clearly at Island H2O, and the music will be piped in.

If you don’t feel like spending a full day at Island H2O Water Park for Stars, Stripes & Splashes, twilight tickets are also available. They cost just $25 per person, and will allow you in at 7:00 PM. Full day admission for the Fourth of July costs $65.99.

Featured area fireworks in 2026 include Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Sunset Walk, Island H2O Water Park, Booms & Beats at MetroWest, Fireworks at the Fountain, Old Town and Fun Spot America, and Celebration, FL.
