It’s hard for me to believe that we’re in the final hours of 2019. What a year this has been! For me, it’s been a year of unexpected travel. I’ve been on two Disney cruises, and headed to California twice! These trips were all because of my work for Disney Dining. My family and I […]
It may be too late to make plans to ring in 2020 at Walt Disney World, but here’s the midnight schedule anyway. After all, it’s not too early to make plans to ring in 2021! Magic Kingdom will have Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50pm. Epcot will show Epcot Forever at 11:40pm. (Next year […]
Need New Year’s Eve plans? Do you wish that you could ring in 2020 at the Magic Kingdom, but you also don’t want to leave the comfort of your living room? Walt Disney World has given us the perfect solution. Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks is going to be carried live. The show is scheduled […]
Since not all Boarding Groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance were being called, Disney has implemented a system that warns people in the upper groups that they might not be able to ride. They will give a number, and state that that group and higher might not get called. That number has been […]
The Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs has only been around for a few years, and already it has become one of my favorite traditions. The best part of all is that it’s free! If you have not yet seen the 22 decorated trees, you still have time. The Christmas Tree Trail will be open […]
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is staying in the Christmas Spirit a little longer than the other theme parks. We get to experience Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! and Sunset Seasons Greetings through January 5, 2020. I miss the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights as much as anyone else, but the projections on Tower of Terror fascinate […]
The holidays have been so much fun this year at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The official end date of the special offerings is listed on the Walt Disney World website as January 1. This date has not been listed for all that long. For months there was no end date for the fun on the website, […]
Just a quick reminder about The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Things will wrap up on December 30. That is the last day of the Candlelight Processional, the storytellers, and the other holiday fun. The decorations will still be up on December 31, but the festival will officially be over.
If you are reading this, I’d like to take a moment to wish you a Merry Christmas! I hope and pray that your day is filled with peace, love, and joy. I also want to thank everyone who has become part of the Disney Over 50 family. You make this hobby of mine so much […]
One of my favorite parts of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. If you didn’t make it to the party this year, or if you want to see the parade again, you can. Weather permitting, it will run twice daily at the Magic Kingdom, now through December 31.
