Independence Day Fireworks: Walt Disney World

Share
Epcot Forever will have a special ending

The Fourth of July is almost here, which means that people everywhere will want to watch fireworks! If your plans include Walt Disney World, make a Disney Park Pass Reservation now, even if you’re an Annual Passholder. There is a chance that capacity could be reached, especially at the Magic Kingdom.

Speaking of the Magic Kingdom, I’ll start there. Happily Ever After will not take place on either July 3 or July 4. Instead, it will be Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. It will run at 9:20. If you hope to watch from a distance, Disney will usually not allow people who aren’t staying or dining at the Magic Kingdom Resorts to watch the special event fireworks.

Epcot will run Epcot Forever at its normal 9:00 on July 4. The show will have a special ending known as The Heartbeat of Freedom. There will most likely be a special display on Spaceship Earth. Epcot is a great place to celebrate Independence Day, because there are also special performances by Voices of Liberty. There could also be characters wearing patriotic costumes in the American Adventure Pavilion.

There aren’t any Fourth of July fireworks scheduled for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney’s Animal Kingdom never has fireworks for the safety of the animals.

Featured area fireworks include Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, Sunset Walk, Red Hot & Boom, Fireworks at the Fountain, Fun Spot, and Celebration, Florida.
