We’ve hit what I like to refer to as the “In Between Season” at Walt Disney World. The holidays are over, Marathon Weekend has passed, but it’s not yet time for Spring Break. This can be a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World, especially if you like the idea of a spur of the moment trip. Here’s why.
There is no time of year where the rides are all walk on and there are no crowds. That said, the crowds are noticeably smaller during the In Between Season. You will still want to use FastPass+ for the more popular rides, but the wait times for everything else are bearable, for the most part at least.
During the In Between Season there are deals to be found. Purchase a 4-Park Magic Value Ticket and you’ll pay a lot less to get into the parks. If you’re staying on property, you’ll pay a lower rate than during the busiest times of the year.
Of course one of the best benefits of visiting during the In Between Season is the weather. It can be a little bit all over the place, but it’s definitely an improvement over those hot, humid summer days!
Right now a lot of people are holding off on visiting Walt Disney World because they want to come once Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is open. That makes now another great time to visit. There are lots of extras going on this In Between Season, Disney is trying to get people in now to disperse the crowds a bit. This is going to be the least busy In Between Season at Walt Disney World for the foreseeable future. Enjoy it while you can!
