It seems like it was just a few days ago that I was telling you that the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival had started, and now it is winding down. November 12 is the last day! If you haven’t been yet, head to Epcot immediately if possible. I’ve been going for years and I think that 2018 is the best one yet.
One of my favorite parts of the Food & Wine Festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. I’ve been several times this year, and I’ve had a blast each time. What is nice is that the America Gardens Theater seats more than you might expect, and there are three shows an evening. Still to come are Taylor Dayne (November 3 and 4), Boyz II Men (November 5 through 7), The Hooters (November 8 and 9), and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (November 10 through 12).
The Global Marketplaces offer a great variety this year. Pick up a Passport when you enter the park, and then you can see what is being served and where. Consider buying a gift card with a wrist strap if you plan to visit several marketplaces. That way you won’t have to keep pulling out your card.
I think that I’ve spent more time in the Festival Center this year than in all past years combined. I’ve really enjoyed the Back to Basics series that is held on the weekends. These are short seminars that are free. Seating is limited, so you’ll need to pick up a ticket ahead of time.
These are just a few of the highlights of the 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I’ve had a great time so far this year, although I still have yet to find one of the figures in Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak…
