While Kandy’s Spooktacular Celebration at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay was created with the kids in mind, the same isn’t true of Howl-O-Scream! It features the scarier side of the season. For many, Howl-O-Scream is a more affordable alternative to Halloween Horror Nights. There are two Howl-O-Screams, the one at SeaWorld is not the same as the one at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights through October 31, and is a separate ticketed event.
Haunted Houses are a large part of Howl-O-Scream, and this year you’ll find new thrills and returning favorites. The houses are:
Anaconda: Fear Has No Escape, Shadows of Wonderland: Reign of Madness, Circus of Fear: Killer Encore, Stranglewood Estate: RePossessed, M.A.R.S., and Raven’s Mill: Lambs to The Slaughter.
Howl-O-Scream also has plenty of scare zones, because you need to get around the park! The scare zones this year are:
Mr. Gleam’s Auto Spa, Rootbound, The Punchline Riot, Breadcrumbs to Nowhere – Once Upon a Time, The Pestilence: Lazarus Strain”, and Ragnar’s Wrath – Call of Odin.
Cirque X-Scream and Fiends are the two live shows. There’s also an immersive photo opportunity called Fear Foto.

When buying tickets for Howl-O-Scream or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in general, always check online first. There are often ticket deals that you won’t find at the gate.
