Halloween Outside of Walt Disney World: Halloween Horror Nights

Are you a fan of scares and gore during the Halloween Season? Then Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort might be exactly what you’re looking for! It takes place on select nights through November 1. Halloween Horror Nights is a separate ticketed event, and there are packages available if one night isn’t enough.

Halloween Horror Nights features themed Haunted Houses. These are quite popular, so expect to wait. The themes this year are Stranger Things, Sinners, Hellraiser, Ozzy Ozborne, Evil Dead Burn, The Forces of Horror Collide, Immortality Comes at a Cost, Big Screams on the Small Screen, You’re at the Bottom of the Food Chain, and Extraterrestrial: And Extra Terrifying.

There are also scare zones. This year you’ll experience Sideshow of Decay, Infernal Carnival of Nightmares, Mel’s Die-In: Zombies, and Club Horror.

If that’s not enough, how about entertainment? This year you’ll find A Rockin’ Stranger Things Rewind and A New Nightmare Begins. Headed to Diagon Alley? Watch out for the Death Eaters!

Halloween Horror Nights also features special foods and merchandise. Select Universal Studios Florida rides are also open during the evening.

While children won’t be turned away, Halloween Horror Nights is not recommended for children under 13. Costumes and masks are not allowed. Halloween Horror Nights is celebrating 35 years, so the scares have been cranked up a notch! For many, Halloween Horror Nights is the premier scare event in Central Florida.
