While Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld Orlando was created with the kids in mind, the same isn’t true of Howl-O-Scream! It features the scarier side of the season. For many, Howl-O-Scream is a more affordable alternative to Halloween Horror Nights. There are two Howl-O-Screams, the one at SeaWorld is not the same as the one at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights through October 31, and is a separate ticketed event.
Here is the official press release with the details.

Guests can now experience the event’s biggest lineup ever, featuring five terrifying haunted houses — four all-new and one returning, six immersive scare zones – four all-new and two returning, five all-new themed bars, pulse-pounding live entertainment and exhilarating rides in the dark.
Named one of the top theme park Halloween events by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice, Howl-O-Scream returns on select nights from Sept. 11 through Oct. 31, transforming SeaWorld Orlando into a fully immersive realm of fear where thrills and frights lurk around every corner. The separately ticketed nighttime event is intended for mature audiences.
Making its debut this year is the all-new house “I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch,” the first movie-inspired haunted house in the event’s history. Inspired by the fan-favorite Sony Pictures horror franchise, the house transports guests to the infamous Southport Massacre, where they must relive spine-chilling moments from the original story while attempting to escape the relentless Fisherman.
Four additional original houses plunge guests into entirely new nightmares. “Dark Net” draws them into the sinister depths of the digital underworld, while “Everything Must Stay” turns an ordinary estate sale into a horrifying encounter. In “Crawlspace,” guests must navigate tight, shadowy spaces where terror could be lurking inches away. Returning fan-favorite “Raveyard” completes the lineup, once again inviting guests into a high-energy nightmare where the party never dies.
Beyond the houses, guests can brave six scare zones — including the all-new “Nekrosis,” where Pestilence reigns over a decaying realm — sip sinister cocktails at five new themed bars and experience electrifying live entertainment throughout the night.
From all-new haunted houses and scare zones to sinister cocktails, live shows and unforgettable scares, Howl-O-Scream 2026 delivers a night of terror unlike anything else in Orlando.
