Walt Disney World has rolled out solar powered trash cans in some locations at Epcot. They feature an internal crusher, so they can hold much more waste. The cans are opened by foot, with a solar panel on top. There are separate cans for regular trash and recycling. There’s no word on whether more cans will be added, or if the new cans will arrive in the other theme parks.
