Last year, Expedition Odyssey opened at SeaWorld Orlando. The ride is already getting an upgrade. Expedition Odyssey Fire & Ice will open on Monday, May 25! The Grand Opening will take place at 2:00 PM that day.

From the moment you enter a fully immersive Arctic research outpost, you’ll be recruited to join a field team exploring the extreme forces of Fire and Ice that shape this frozen world.
After a final briefing from a research scientist, board a prototype drone craft and launch into a breathtaking cinematic journey through vast escapes, dynamic environments, and awe-inspiring wildlife encounters. Blending cutting-edge technology with immersive storytelling, this next-level experience blurs the line between simulation and reality—delivering a visually stunning expedition that will leave you wondering how it was even possible.
The adventure doesn’t end when the ride does. Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice seamlessly transitions guests into a real-world encounter with live Arctic animals, including beluga whales and walruses.
Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice is designed to be a family-friendly thrill, with a height requirement of just 39 inches. That means kids and adults alike can embark on this unforgettable Arctic expedition together.
If you’re a SeaWorld Orlando Pass Member, you’ll have a chance to ride before the general public. Platinum Pass Members can ride on Saturday, May 23, starting at 3:00 PM. Platinum and Gold Pass Members can ride on Sunday, May 24, starting at 10:00 AM. Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Pass Members can ride on Monday, May 25 from 10:00 AM until the Grand Opening at 2:00. At that time, Expedition Odyssey Fire & Ice will be open for all guests who are at least 39 inches tall. Pass Members can stop by the Expedition Odyssey Git Shop for a free commemorative button.
