Not-So-Scary Dates and Numbers

Let’s boo this!

Now that we have preliminary information on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I thought I’d run over the important dates and numbers. I’ll start with dates. It will take place on the following evenings:

August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30

September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29

October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event, which means your regular theme park ticket will not get you in! People with Not-So-Scary tickets will receive a wristband, and Cast Members will check often to ensure that everyone at the Magic Kingdom is supposed to be there.

Speaking of tickets, if you’ll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Shades of Green, or the Swan and Dolphin on a party night, you can purchase tickets on May 8. They will go on sale to the general public on May 15.

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will cost between $119 and $199, depending on the night. That doesn’t include tax. While I haven’t found the exact price for each date yet, in the past the first night is more expensive than the rest of August. October will cost the most, with Halloween Night costing $199.

There is a discount for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. You will save $10 per ticket, but only in August and September. There is no discount for AP or DVC in October. There is also a Cast Member discount on select nights.

I’ve been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times, and I’ve always had a blast. I did skip it in 2023, and it was hard to see everyone else having such a good time. If you’ll be at Walt Disney World on a Not-So-Scary night and it fits into your budget, give it a go. You’ll make up for the cost in the amount of candy that you’ll take home. Buy your tickets sooner rather than later, because most, if not all, dates will sell out.
