Reminders About the Annual Passholder TRON Preview Registration

TRON Lightcycle / Run

Tomorrow (February 16) Annual Passholders will be able to make reservations for a preview of TRON Lightcycle / Run at the Magic Kingdom. We don’t yet know much about the previews, just that a link will be sent in an email. Here are a few things to prepare you for that email tomorrow.

If you plan to ride with family and/or friends, make sure that everyone is on your Friends & Family list in your My Disney Experience account. Disney will not add people to your preview after you’ve completed your registration.

You will not need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the Magic Kingdom on the day of your preview. If your quota is already full, it won’t be a problem. Disney will add a bonus reservation for you when you’re close to your preview date.

Some Annual Passes have blockout dates. If you are blocked out on the day of your preview, you’ll need to buy a one day ticket or miss your opportunity to ride. Update: Disney has announced that Passholders who are blocked out the day of their previews will have their reservations canceled.

Double check your calendar before your process your registration. Disney will not move it to a different date for you.

TRON Lightcycle / Run has a height requirement of 48 inches. Keep that in mind if you have younglings in your party.

Remember that previews are not transferable. You can’t hand a MagicBand to someone else and let them ride instead of Uncle Bob, who couldn’t make it last minute. People will do this, but it is against the rules.

If you didn’t get the email about the preview a couple of days ago, you probably won’t get the email with the link. Check your My Disney Experience settings immediately to ensure that emails are on. If they are and you still didn’t get it, contact Disney. The Passholder number is 407-WDW-PASS or (407-939-7277), or try the chat feature.

Spots for the Annual Passholder Preview will go fast, so join the virtual queue the moment you receive the email. Screenshot everything so that you’ll have proof if something goes wrong. Keep your confirmation email where you can easily find it again, you might need that later. Good luck!
