The Boneyard DinoLand U.S.A.

A play area for kids ten and under. Children dig for “fossils”, cross a rope bridge, climb on rocks, and partake of other energy-burning activities.

Burudika Africa

A street dance party that takes place several times a day. “Burudika” is Swahili for “to be refreshed”.

Chakranadi Asia

Enjoy traditional Indian music on Indian instruments. Chakranadi performs several times on select days.

Learn about animal habitats around the world. There are ten care areas that are designed to appeal to all ages.

DINOSAUR DinoLand U.S.A., must be 40 inches or taller

A jerky ride that takes time travelers back to the age of the dinosaurs. Although there’s a fairly low height requirement, the ride is too dark and intense for some children.

Dino-Sue DinoLand U.S.A.

A faithful recreation of a real Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton that was found in South Dakota. Dino-Sue is located near DINOSAUR.

Discovery Island Carnivale Welcomes Jose & Panchito from The Three Caballeros! Discovery Island

Viva Gaia Street Band! performs and guests are encouraged to dance and have a great time at this street party. Jose and Panchito join in on the fun.

Discovery Island Trails Discovery Island

Guests explore at their own pace on this trail around the Tree of Life. Some of the animals on the trail could include white storks, macaws, red kangaroos, and ring-tailed lemurs.

Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain Asia, must be 44 inches or taller

A roller coaster ride through Mt. Everest. The train goes backwards as well as forwards, and at one point a yeti might be encountered.

Festival of the Lion King Africa

Join Simba and the gang from The Lion King in this high energy and popular show. Audience participation is encouraged, and some volunteers are chosen.

Finding Nemo – The Musical DinoLand U.S.A.

The Pixar film is retold using a clever combination of puppets and live actors. The show runs approximately 40 minutes.

Fossil Fun Games DinoLand U.S.A.

Take a step back in time and try to win a prize with an new “old” take on carnival games. Choices include Whac-A-Packycephalosaur, Comet Crasher, and Bronto-Score.

Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail Africa

A self-paced trail through the Pangani Forest. See gorillas, zebras, and other animals, as well as African plants.

Habitat Habitat! Rafiki’s Planet Watch

The pathway between the train station and Conservation Station, Habitat Habitat! is a self guided path that takes guests into the world of cotton-top tamarin monkeys.

It’s Tough to be a Bug! Discovery Island

Located inside the Tree of Life, this 3D movie allows guests to see things from a bug’s point of view. There are a few sensory surprises during the film.

Kali River Rapids Asia, must be 38 inches or taller

Up to 12 guests take a ride down the Chakranadi River on a whitewater adventure. Be prepared to get soaked.

Kilimanjaro Safaris Africa

Guests ride in an open aired vehicle into the Disney-made Harambe Wildlife Reserve. Since the animals roam freely, the journey is different each time. Nocturnal Encounters take guests on the same path after sundown, when the animals are more active.

Maharajah Jungle Trek Asia

A self paced tour that includes footbridges and waterfalls. Some of the animals seen on the trail could include Asian tigers, gibbons, and water buffalo.

Na’vi River Journey Pandora – The World of Avatar

A family boat ride located in the Valley of Mo’ara. The ride is beautiful, and guests at the end float past the Na’vi Shaman of Songs. Lines for Na’vi River Journey grow long quickly.

The Oasis Exhibits Oasis (park entrance)

After passing through the turnstiles, guests find themselves on a path that features giant anteaters, barking deer, and other animals.

Primeval Whirl DinoLand U.S.A., must be 48 inches or taller

Take a trip back in time on this spinning roller coaster. There aren’t any huge hills, but it is a bumpy ride.

Rivers of Light multiple locations

An end of the night show that takes place on the Discovery River. Floating lanterns, fireflies, and several animals are featured in a stunning show.

Swotu Wayä Na’vi Drum Ceremony Pandora – The World of Avatar

A live show featuring drums from the Valley of Mo’ara. When the show isn’t taking place, children and kids at heart are welcome to play the drums themselves.

Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe Africa

A street show that features the drumming techniques of the Congo.

Tree of Life Discovery Island

The Tree of Life is the icon at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. There are over 300 animals carved into the tree, and it houses It’s Tough to Be a Bug!.

Tree of Life Awakenings Discovery Island

At night the Tree of Life comes alive with animal projections. The shows take place every few minutes.

TriceraTop Spin DinoLand U.S.A.

Fly above DinoLand U.S.A. on the back of a dinosaur. Similar to Dumbo the Flying Elephant, guests control some motions.

Viva Gaia Street Band! Discovery Island

Join a Caribbean street party with the Viva Gaia Street Band!. This is not to be confused with Discovery Island Carnivale Welcomes Jose & Panchito from The Three Caballeros!, in which the Viva Gaia Street Band! also performs.

Wilderness Explorers Discovery Island

Based on the movie Up, participants collect badges and explore the wilderness. There are 30 badges to be earned, so don’t expect to collect them all in one trip.

A short train ride that takes guests to and from Rafiki’s Planet Watch. The journey is different each way.
