Once Upon a Studio is, in my opinion, one of the best parts of The Magic of Disney Animation. Yes, the short has been on Disney+ for a while now, but it’s even better on a big screen. When you enter the theater, you might notice two picture frames on each side. These pictures look still, until Mickey calls everyone together for the 100th anniversary photo. They then come to life, with various characters making their way to the main screen. Once everyone has arrived, the side pictures become empty backgrounds with dimmed lights. It’s fun to watch the characters from different stories interact. Of course, you’ll also want to pay attention to the main screen, so you should probably watch Once Upon a Studio several times.
