Walt Disney World is cracking down on parking at Disney Springs, but that doesn’t mean that Resort Hopping is a thing of the past. Just park at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, and take Disney Transportation from there!
If you park at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can take the Skyliner Loop. The Skyliner also services the World Gateway entrance to Epcot, but you’ll have to walk through the park to get there.
Take the Disney Skyliner from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to the Skyliner Hub at Disney Caribbean Beach Resort. Explore the resort. When you’re done, you’ll have a choice to make.
The Disney Skyliner has three lines. My favorite of the three is the one that takes you to both Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. They share the same Skyliner station, so it’s up to you which you want to explore first. I personally could spend hours here!
The other line takes you to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. Head away from the park and up the small hill. It’s time to Resort Hop! You’ll find Disney’s BoardWalk, Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resorts, as well as Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts. There’s a lot to see!
When you’re done, head back to the Disney Skyliner Station at Epcot. The line stops at Disney’s Riviera Resort as well. The walk to and from the Disney Skyliner station at Disney’s Riviera Resort is reason enough to stop. It’s also a beautiful resort.
Whichever line you choose, you’ll get back on where you got off and return to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. From there, you’ll catch another gondola and return to your car at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
There might be times when Disney restricts visiting resorts without a reservation due to capacity. This is especially true when there are special fireworks, such as July 4th and New Year’s Eve. The rest of the year, though, you can ride Disney Skyliner to the resorts to your heart’s content. If this ever changes, I’ll let you know on Disney Over 50.
