It used to be that when you made a restaurant reservation, you could pick specific dietary restrictions and add them to your reservation. That option appears to be gone. Now, if you choose “Dietary Requests” you’ll see the following message:
This doesn’t change anything about how seriously Disney takes special dietary requests and allergies. It’s just not possible to add it to your reservation when you make it. Always talk to your server or a chef for special requests, especially if you have an allergy.
