Don’t Skip the Disney on Broadway Concert Series!

Performances in the America Gardens Theater are an important part of all four festivals at Epcot. For the Flower & Garden Festival, it’s Garden Rocks. During the Food & Wine Festival, you’ll find Eat to the Beat. Both feature popular artists some evenings and local artists others. Once the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays rolls around, you’ll find the Candlelight Processional, with an orchestra, mass choir, and celebrity narrator. Things are a little bit different during the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. The evening entertainment is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series. It’s not to be missed.

One of the main things that makes the Disney on Broadway Concert Series different is the performers. They aren’t household names if you aren’t overly familiar with Disney’s theatrical productions. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch. These performances are high energy, with some of the most talented stars of the stage on the planet.

Even if you don’t recognize the names of the performers, you will recognize the songs if you’re a fan of Disney music! The duo will perform songs from the shows that they were in, but they’ll also throw in a couple from other productions. If you can’t quite remember where you know the song from, the name of the production is on a screen at the back of the stage.

This year, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series seems to be more popular than ever. My daughter and I attended a few nights ago, and the theater was full well before the show started! It still isn’t to the point where you need to line up hours in advance, but you might want to keep checking once the show time is getting closer.

The Disney on Broadway Concert Series has always been important, but it finally seems to be getting more respect. Don’t skip it, even if you aren’t sure who the performers are. You will enjoy every moment!
