Walt Disney World is spectacular on New Year’s Eve, but it’s not the only game in town. There are two locations of Fun Spot America in Central Florida, and they are hosting two different events on December 31!
I’ll start with Fun Spot Kissimmee. It’s located at 2850 Florida Plaza Boulevard, right off of Route 192. (Believe me, you can’t miss it.) Fun Spot and Old Town are right next to each other, and they will celebrate together. The live music at Old Town will start at 6:00. At midnight, there will be a drone show instead of fireworks. The event is free and family friendly. While there is some free parking available, I’d recommend paying for a spot. It will be much less stressful. Don’t park where you aren’t allowed, you will be towed. (Happy New Year!)
Fun Spot Orlando is located at 5700 Fun Spot Way, near International Drive. There will be fireworks at this Fun Spot location. If you’ve ever seen a Fun Spot commercial, you know that it will be huge! Admission is free, the fireworks will start right before midnight. I’ve never been to Fun Spot Orlando during a major event, so I can’t speak about parking firsthand. That said, give yourself extra time and pack your patience. The fireworks will be worth it.
