On December 31, enjoy the rides and shows during the day, and don’t forget to try the holiday treats! After dark, the park comes alive with millions of lights. You can then ring in the New Year with an incredible fireworks display! New Year’s Eve at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will be a fantastic show, I’ve been several times. With the addition of drones, I’m sure that it’s better than ever.
New Year’s Eve at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is included with your theme park admission. It looks like the VIP Package is sold out. That shouldn’t be a problem, you won’t have a hard time seeing the fireworks without it.
As always with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, check for tickets online before heading to the park. You might find a better deal. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will open at 9:00 AM on December 31, and remain open until 1:00 AM. If you drive, arrive early and plan to stay for the whole day. Parking can get tricky, especially during the evening. You might end up parking at Adventure Island, which is across the street.
