One of the nice things about Central Florida in the last few months of the year is that there is plenty to do! You probably already know about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Halloween Horror Nights. There are plenty of other Halloween events throughout the area as well. Some are for thrill fans, others are for those who like things a little bit calmer.
There are two Halloween-themed events at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this year. The first is the brand new Halloween Harvest. It’s fun for the whole family and focuses on the sweet side of Halloween. On select nights after dark, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay switches off the sweet and turns on the scary. I’m talking about Howl-O-Scream, which is celebrating its 25th year!
At Howl-O-Scream, you’ll find both new and returning haunted houses. There are scare zones throughout the park, with themes such as Terror Through Time and Tree Lot Massacre. There are live shows, and you can even participate in Scare-E-Oke!
Show up to Howl-O-Scream hungry, because there are special foods and beverages available for purchase. You’ll be surprised by the number of craft creations with sinister names that are available!
Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay runs on select nights from September 6 through November 2. It is a separate ticketed event. SeaWorld Orlando hosts a different Howl-O-Scream, so you might want to try both! As always with Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, buy your tickets online for the lowest price.
