This morning my sister and her clan left after spending almost a week at Walt Disney World. She and her husband are reaching a milestone anniversary in August, and this trip was their early celebration. They came with their two kids, their daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. My sister started talking about the possibility of taking this trip a couple of years ago, and she had a lot of questions. That’s kind of how the idea for this website started. They’re not a typical Disney family, those people who know all about the parks and have kids named Elsa and Woody. They’re just a family who wanted to spend a few days together, experiencing something new. My sister had questions, and she knew that I could help with the answers. My thought was that if I could help her and her family, maybe I could help some other people in a similar situation. Walt Disney World is gigantic, and it can be overwhelming. My goal here is to take away some of the overwhelmingness of a Disney vacation for anyone who happens to stumble upon this site. A little bit of knowledge can go a long way sometimes.
If there is something that you want to know or if you have a question, please feel free to email me. If you have the question, there’s a good chance that many other people will benefit from that information as well. A lot of what I’ve written here has been a direct result of my sister’s questions, and from a few others as well. Please consider liking my Facebook page, as well as following me on Instagram. These are the best ways to connect, and to be able to get the information to you that you need to plan your Walt Disney World vacation.
From time to time I’ll also post news, but this isn’t really a news site. I want to make sure that the information here is useful and relevant. While I have an audience that I tend to write towards, I also want what you find here to be beneficial to all ages, not just those who are over 50.
My sister and her family gave me a lot of great tips this morning, things that they discovered over the past few days. I’ll be sharing those with you soon. If you have something that you think others could benefit from, again, feel free to contact me.
It’s my goal to make your Walt Disney World vacation better. I like to do it in short pieces that can easily be absorbed, I don’t like giving too much information at once. I hope that you enjoy this site, and that you don’t mind that I sometimes will add a little bit of my oddball sense of humor into my posts. If you’re looking for something specific, use the search feature (I use it myself sometimes). Enjoy the site. As for me, I’m on my way to Toy Story Land. It’s for research, I promise.
