One common question at this time of year is when Disney will film Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade for the annual Disney Christmas special. While the filming date hasn’t been confirmed, there is a strong hint that Disney plans to film it on Wednesday, November 11.
Here’s why. If you check the five-day calendar on the Walt Disney World website, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is listed as running at 2:00 that day. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade has no times listed.
This doesn’t mean that the filming of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will actually happen on November 11. There are other factors that could come into play, such as the weather. But as of right now, it looks like that is the plan.
If you’re an Annual Passholder, you might want to make your Park Reservation for the Magic Kingdom now. Once the hint becomes known, the date will probably fill up.
And if you don’t like crowds and don’t care about seeing them film Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, you might want to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 11. Epcot will be crowded that day, because The Beach Boys are the scheduled Eat to the Beat artists.
