Oogie Boogie Bash is one of my favorite special ticketed events on either coast. This year, one of the top entertainment options will be missing. There will be no Frightfully Fun Parade, presumably because of construction at Disney California Adventure. Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party will take place instead. Oogie Boogie Bash will run on select evenings from August 18 through October 31. In my opinion, it’s well worth it, even without the parade.
