Families attending the 2026 Florida Kids & Family Expo will discover magical moments around every corner as beloved princesses, superheroes, pirates, Star Wars characters, storybook favorites, and other special guests come together for one unforgettable weekend of family fun.
Taking place August 22-23, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center, the Florida Kids & Family Expo is Central Florida’s largest family event, featuring more than 200 exhibitors, sponsors, and community partners along with hands-on activities, entertainment, sports experiences, educational resources, family services, and interactive attractions.
One of the most anticipated experiences each year is the opportunity for children to meet some of their favorite characters in person.
Leading the character experiences is Ever After Character Events, a longtime Expo partner that has been creating magical memories for Central Florida families for years.
Based in Southwest Orlando, Ever After Character Events is Central Florida’s premier source for princess parties, superhero adventures, pirate celebrations, and character entertainment. Another longtime fan favorite returning to the Expo is the 501st Legion, the internationally recognized Star Wars costuming organization dedicated to celebrating the Star Wars universe through screen-accurate costumes portraying iconic characters from the franchise.
Children and Star Wars fans of all ages will have opportunities to meet members of the 501st Legion and pose for unforgettable photos with some of the galaxy’s most recognizable characters.

Expo organizers have also heard rumors that attendees may encounter a Transformer or two courtesy of Transform Your Event.
Adding even more value for families, every child attending the Expo with a paid child admission ticket on Saturday, August 22, will receive a free Kids Meal at the Chick-fil-A located on Universal Boulevard.
