Photo courtesy Fun SpotThe Fourth of July is almost here, which means that people everywhere will want to watch fireworks! If you’re in the Orlando area but aren’t headed to Walt Disney World, there are plenty of other choices.
There are two Central Florida locations of Fun Spot. The Kissimmee location has partnered with Old Town (which is right next door). On Independence Day Rocktown will perform live on the Old Town Main Stage. The fireworks will take place at 9:00.
The Orlando location will have Fourth of July fireworks at 9:00 as well. Admission is free at both locations, and you can purchase either individual ride tickets or a wristband. Fun Spot has a bit of an old fashioned feel, reminding me of the carnivals that would come to my hometown when I was growing up. The fireworks add to that feel.
Featured area fireworks include Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa, Sunset Walk, Red Hot & Boom, Fireworks at the Fountain, Fun Spot, and Celebration, Florida.
