Magic Shots are always a fun way to add some extra Pixie Dust to a PhotoPass photo. A brand new type of Magic Shot has debuted at the Magic Kingdom, and you are going to love the results! It’s called a Watercolor Magic Shot. Not only does it make your picture look like a “watercolor”, the people in the background magically disappear! That’s not all the Disney Parks Blog had to share about Magic Shots. Here is all of the information.

Disney PhotoPass Service Unveils New Artistic Watercolor Magic Shot

by Emily Southard, Communications Specialist

We know how much you love Disney PhotoPass Service’s Magic Shots, so we’ve been exploring how to use technology to expand these offerings in new and exciting ways. As part of these efforts, we just launched a new Watercolor Magic Shot that turns your photo into a painting while stylistically removing other guests from the background so your friends and family are the focus of the photo.

Check out the before and after photos below showing this effect!

This Magic Shot is available from the Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed across from Partners Statue (see below for the exact location pinpointed on a map) at Magic Kingdom Park for a limited time from 9 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.

This new Magic Shot is just one of many offered by Disney PhotoPass Service!

Photographers currently offer almost 100 classic Magic Shots around Walt Disney World Resort, which add fun effects or favorite characters to your photo.

Photographers also offer Super Zoom Magic Shots – now available in all four theme parks – that capture photos and videos of you from unique angles at some of our most iconic locations in the parks.

And be sure to enjoy our 360-degree Tiny World Magic Shots (also available at all four theme parks), because at Walt Disney World, the surroundings are so beautiful that every angle should be captured! Sky? Check. Ground? Check. Literally everything else around you plus a few magical additions? Check and check.

We’re excited to continue exploring more ways to expand the possibilities of Magic Shots – stay tuned!

To download all the Magic Shots from your Walt Disney World vacation, consider purchasing Memory Maker. With Memory Maker, in addition to all of your Magic Shots, you’ll also be able to download photos taken onboard more than a dozen attractions, videos taken onboard three attractions, and pictures captured by Disney PhotoPass photographers at more than 100 locations across Walt Disney World Resort, including at iconic spots, photo studios, and much more.* To learn more or make a purchase, click here.
