It’s never too early to think about Halloween costumes! Since Disney is celebrating Halfway to Halloween this week, right now is the perfect time to start talking to the kids about what they might want to wear. (This is another instance where you don’t have to be at the Disney Parks to participate.) Here are the Halfway to Halloween costumes from Disney Parks Blog.

Celebrate Halfway to Halloween with New Costumes from Disney & More

Get ready to scream with excitement! It may be April, but things are already starting to get eerie. Why’s that, you ask, foolish mortal? Why, because we’re just one day away from Disney’s #HalfwaytoHalloween celebration! And I’ve got some fun new costumes that are just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit!

There’s no denying that the upcoming release of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” has made a huge splash in the minds and hearts of many—and we still have a month until the film releases in theaters nationwide on May 26! This Ariel Costume for Kids is sure to get you and your own little mermaid even more hyped as you count down the days to the premiere. Crafted with shimmering “undersea” details and fabrics, including iridescent sequins, colorful tiers of tulle, and pleated “fins,” the costume elegantly embodies Ariel’s mermaid tail. Even more exciting than the gorgeous costume itself is that it’s now available for pre-sale on shopDisney and can be found soon at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

I love a good group costume theme! And it’s hard to think of a more popular theme right now than La Familia Madrigal. Now, in addition to Mirabel and Isabela costumes, shopDisney and Disney Parks carry even more costumes inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios “Encanto,” and young fans can dress up as favorite characters, including DoloresBruno, and Luisa. I can only imagine how adorable all the family photos are going to be! Make sure to tag #shopDisney when you post online so we can see all of your fun group pics.

Every season is an appropriate season to dress up as a Disney Princess or Disney “Frozen” character. Little ones can let their imaginations set sail in shopDisney’s Moana Deluxe Costume for Kids or soar into a whole new world of adventure in the Jasmine Adaptive Costume for Kids and Magic Carpet Wheelchair Wrap. Bring the magic of Disney heroines to life with the Tiana Deluxe Costume by Disguise, as well as this cute Rapunzel costume from Party City that features a light-up tutu skirt. If your little one is looking for an ensemble fit for a Queen, the Elsa Deluxe Costume from Disguise is perfect for any Disney “Frozen” fan.

Little scarers in training will love dressing up like the top scarer of Disney and Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” himself, James P. Sullivan, in this soft and fuzzy fleece jacket that features Sulley’s signature look, from his spots to his horns! If your child is less of a scarer and more of a super, they can suit up just like a member of the Parr family in the Incredibles Adaptive Costume and drive their very own Incredimobile with this wheelchair cover set by Disguise. Kids can also become fearless space adventurers dressed in the Space Ranger Deluxe Costume or as other favorite characters from Disney and Pixar’s “Lightyear,” like Zurg and Buzz Lightyear’s robot companion cat, Sox.

If you’re the type who likes to stir up a little Halloween mischief, I’m guessing you’re also a fan of the God of Mischief himself, Loki. Don this green and gold ear headband inspired by Loki’s unmistakable horned headpiece, and carry the adorable Alligator Loki magnetic plush on your shoulder for the perfect partner in mischievous fun. Little ones can let their imaginations take them to heroic heights in one of the many Super Hero-inspired costumes from shopDisney. They can swing into action in the style of Miles Morales as Spider-Man or defend the Kingdom of Wakanda in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Costume or Black Panther Light-Up Costume which is also available in an adaptive, wheelchair-friendly fit. All of these heroic finds are available now on shopDisney and in Disney Parks.

Whether you’re preparing for Halloween, a summer convention, or just dressing up and geeking out alone at home (we all do that, right?), shopDisney and Disney Parks have more than enough Star Wars fandom merch to satisfy your cosplaying needs. Pay tribute to the fearless Ahsoka Tano in this ear headband adorned with her iconic lekku and montrals. Don the helmets of your favorite Star Wars characters, like the Mandalorian Voice Changing Mask that transforms your voice into that of a legendary bounty hunter. You can also wield the one-of-a-kind black-energy blade with the Darksaber Legacy Set, which includes a blade and hilt, as well as a keepsake box and stand to showcase the ancient artifact.

For fans of “The Mandalorian,” I’m assuming that wherever you go, the Child goes. Whether “the child” in question is a human child or your sweet fur baby doesn’t really matter, as long as they are dressed the part! Force-sensitive puppers will look even more adorable than they already are in this Grogu Pet Costume by Jazwares, while your human baby dresses in this cuddly Grogu Costume Bodysuit Set from shopDisney. Kids will also have tons of fun in the shopDisney Grogu Baseball Cap and the pack of Halloween-themed Rock ‘Em socks covered in eerie patterns showcasing Grogu and other Stars Wars characters.

With “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” releasing on June 30, I have a feeling that Dr. Jones’ adventurous ensemble is going to be a pretty popular look once the Halloween season officially rolls around. Get ahead of the fandom and start prepping your costume now with shopDisney’s Indiana Jones Leather Jacket and Button-down Shirt. Grab yourself an Indiana Jones Action-Crackin’ Whip toy from Hasbro, and top off the look with the Indiana Jones Official Ravenwood Hat, made with water-repellent wool felt sure to protect you through all your adventures.

You won’t have to travel 4.5 lightyears from Earth to Pandora to embody one of the Na’vi. Simply dress up in these deluxe Jake and Neytiri costumes by Disguise. Your little ones can also join the fun and look absolutely adorable in this glow-in-the-dark Na’vi Costume Bodysuit and Beanie Set for Babies from shopDisney.

Hocus Pocus Winifred Sanderson Costume
Thackery Binx Cat Collar
The Hocus Pocus Spell Book

Dress the part as one of your favorite witches in the Hocus Pocus Winifred Sanderson Costume by Disguise, and make sure your feline friend looks just as stylish in the Thackery Binx Cat Collar by Buckle-Down. Don’t forget your book of spells! The Hocus Pocus Spell Book is an enchanting tome filled with spells, potions, witch history, and more!

Has all of this managed to get you in the spirit yet? If you still need a little nudge, no worries! Stay tuned for even more #HalfwaytoHalloween announcements this week. There’s no telling what kind of ghoulish delights lie in store!
