Ten Second Tip: Dining Cancellation Reminder

Share
Don’t forget to cancel any reservation you aren’t going to use!

It used to be that for most full service or buffet restaurants you had to cancel a dining reservation 24 hours in advance, or your credit card would be charged $10 per person on the reservation. You can now cancel up to two hours before your reservation time. If you cancel less than two hours before the time or don’t show up you will be charged. Just because you have extra time doesn’t mean you should wait. The moment you realize you aren’t going to use a reservation, cancel it. That will free up the spot for someone else and could make their day.
