Sunday Savings Series: Limited Time Bonuses for Annual Passholders

It’s a great time to be an Annual Passholder!

If you’re a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, you’ll be happy to know that Disney is giving us a little bit of extra magic this month! You can find the information on the Walt Disney World website here.

The first bonus is one that I plan to take advantage of. Once again, the Annual Passholder discount will be raised to 30 percent! The extra ten percent will be available from December 12 through December 23. If your pass is blocked out for part of that time, you will still receive a discount at Disney Springs or the stores at the resorts. The discount is available at Disney-owned stores. Remember, just because a store is on Walt Disney World property does not mean that it is owned by Disney. If you aren’t sure, just ask if there’s a discount.

The second bonus is a delicious one. From December 12 until December 23, Annual Passholders can save 20 percent on food and non-alcoholic beverages at some of the Epcot Holiday Kitchens! You can see the list of kiosks here. If you’re worried about holding too many Disney Park Pass Reservations, read on.

The third bonus won’t save you money, but it will allow you to hold onto some of your Disney Park Pass reservations. Walt Disney World has added bonus reservations for all four theme parks from December 12 through December 23! This does not mean that a park will have availability. What it does mean is that your reservation will not count towards the total that you’re allowed to hold. My Annual Pass has a limit of five reservations, and I often have five days booked. Bonus reservations come in handy.

There have been a lot of complaints that Disney does not value its Annual Passholders. These extras at the busiest time of year are a way that the company is trying to show us that we are important after all.
