Sunday Savings Series: A Peppa Pig and LEGOLAND Vacation?

Share
Peppa Pig Theme Park is open!

I mostly focus on Disney here, but sometimes I will talk about things outside of the Disney Bubble. Lately, I have been asked a lot of questions about the brand new Peppa Pig Theme Park. I thought that my Sunday Saving Series might be a good place to mention it because it is so affordable. You can read about my experience on the media day here.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is meant for kids ages two through six. That’s a very limited number of potential guests. I do think that some slightly older kids might like it as well, but it is definitely for the preschool crowd.

Right next to Peppa Pig Theme Park is LEGOLAND. While this still isn’t for teens, the target age is two through 12. There is also a Water Park with slides, a lazy river, and a play area.

Here is where this information falls under the savings category. The LEGOLAND complex also has some fun places to stay. Why not consider booking a vacation package? Depending on which hotel you choose and when you travel, you could end up staying for under $100 per person per night! Can you say that about a Walt Disney World vacation?

Even if you don’t want a full vacation, Peppa Pig Theme Park is an affordable option if you want a day outside of Walt Disney World. A one-day ticket is under $35 online! You can also combine tickets with LEGOLAND and the Water Park. Three days can cost less than a one-day ticket to Walt Disney World.

Peppa Pig Theme Park is a Certified Autism Center, making it perfect for ALL preschoolers. The pace is also more relaxed than the other area theme parks. There are rides, but there are also hands-on activities to keep kids busy and happy.

You have two options for airports if you’re flying. You could fly into Orlando International Airport, but consider Tampa International Airport if the flights are cheaper. Peppa Pig Theme Park and LEGOLAND are located about halfway between the two, give or take a few miles and the traffic on I-4.

There’s more to Central Florida than just Walt Disney World, Universal, and SeaWorld. If you’re traveling with kids or grandkids who are in the right age range, Peppa Pig Theme Park and LEGOLAND could be a fun, affordable alternative.
