Very often Walt Disney World will release a ticket special for Florida Residents at the beginning of the year. The holiday crowds are gone, and Disney is trying to entice people to visit the parks. Since things are different right now, it was unsure if there would be a special rate for Florida Residents or not. Fortunately, Disney has come up with a ticket deal that is pretty sweet.
It’s called the Discover Disney Ticket. There are three different options for those who live in the Sunshine State. All of them will be available on January 4. None of the choices include Park Hopper, and prices are before tax.
The two-day option is as follows. The ticket is good through March 11. The blockout dates are January 16 through 18 and February 13 through 15. The cost is $149 per ticket, which is less than $75 per day.
Here’s the three-day option. This ticket is good through June 18. The blockout dates are January 16 through 16, February 13 through 15, March 26 through April 11, and May 28 through 30. The cost for this one is $179 per ticket, or less than $60 per day.
The final choice is the four-day option. This ticket is also good through June 18. The blockout dates are the same; January 16 through 16, February 13 through 15, March 26 through April 11, and May 28 through 30. This ticket costs $199 per ticket, which is less than $50 a day!
If this wasn’t enough, Walt Disney World is also offering a special room rate for Florida Residents. You can save up to 35 percent, depending on the hotel category. This deal is good for select stays through April 17.
Proof of Florida residency is required to take advantage of one of these special deals. You can’t have Aunt Bertha who lives in the Villages purchase the tickets for you.
One of the many things that I love about living in Florida is using the Florida Resident discounts. I hope that you find this information useful, and that you save a lot of money!
