Busch Gardens Tampa will reopen on June 11!

Both Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando have been approved to reopen on Friday, June 11. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, which owns both, has released some preliminary information.

The biggest news is that reservations will be required to be admitted to either park. Reservations will be available online. The details on how or when to obtain a reservation have not been released, we just know that they will be needed.

Face coverings will be required for all guests who are two years old or older. There is no mention of providing a face covering, so it is probably safe to assume that guests without one will be turned away.

All employees and guests will have their temperatures checked before entering a park. There will be social distancing markers where needed, including in lines. There will be increased hand sanitizing stations and handwashing stations. Contactless payments will be encouraged. Some experiences such as parades, shows, and character greetings could be modified or canceled.

Also opening on June 11 are Aquatica Orlando and Adventure Island Tampa Bay. These two water parks are also owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. They will both follow the above guidelines, with one exception. Face coverings will not be required in the water. Reservations will be required at the water parks as well.
