Artwork and The Epcot International Festival of the Arts

How can you choose just one? Might as well buy them all…

If you are looking for the perfect piece to hang on your living room wall, you might find exactly what your heart desires at the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of pieces for sale. Most of the creations have a Disney or Disney owned property (such as Star Wars) theme, but there is nothing wrong with that. Mickey and his pals will brighten up any boring wall!

The information that you will need if searching for artwork is found in the Times Guide that you will pick up when you enter the park. Inside is the Meet the Artists section. It has which artists are appearing, and where they and their works can be found. If you are interested in actually meeting someone, the times are listed. You can also just take a look around many of the booths if the artist is not there. Someone should be on hand to answer questions and complete the transaction if you find the perfect piece.

Page O’Hara and Linda Larkin at the D23 Expo last August

One of the artists who has returned for the Festival of the Arts this year is Page O’Hara. Not only is she the voice of Belle, she is also a talented painter. I’ve also heard that she is as nice as can be. At the D23 Expo last August she was part of a Disney Voices panel, and she gifted paintings of the princesses that they portrayed to Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Jodi Benson (Ariel), and Linda Larkin (Jasmine). It was a touching moment. You must purchase a piece of her artwork if you’d like to meet Page O’Hara. Talk about the ultimate souvenir!

If you’re worried about getting your artwork home, don’t be. This is Disney, they have thought of everything. Just talk to a Cast Member where you buy the artwork. You can pick it up at the front of the park, have it delivered to your resort room, or even learn about having it safely shipped to your home. There are plenty of options.
