TSA has reviewed this, and overturned their initial decision. Remember, though, that you still can’t bring liquid in your carry on!
The Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite bottles from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge were designed to resemble thermal detonators from the Star Wars movies. That seems to be causing some problems for those who are flying. I’ve heard from multiple sources that the bottles are banned by TSA, because they are designed to look like an explosive device. Even the empty bottles are not allowed. While this seems a bit excessive, they are keeping us safe.
