It will be here before we know it!

It’s hard to believe that the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will begin its 2019 run in less than a month! Disney has released a few details of what to expect this season, and I thought that I would pass those along to you.

The biggest change for 2019 is the brand new fireworks show. It will be called Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Jack Skellington will host the new show. It will also feature Zero, Jack’s ghost dog. The story will follow Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy on a trick or treating adventure. We’ve already been told that there will be great viewing areas across the Magic Kingdom.

Returning for 2019 are the enhancements to three rides. Mad Tea Party will have special colors, lights, and music. The live actors will return to Pirates of the Caribbean. My personal favorite is what they will do for Space Mountain. The lights are turned off so you’ll ride in the dark.

Fan favorite Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular returns in 2019. The live show will take place several times on each party night. The Headless Horseman, Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade, Monstrous Scream-O-Ween Ball, and Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam all return as well.

Of course Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will include special characters that aren’t normally in the park. You can also trick or treat to your heart’s delight. This year one trail will lead you into the world of Monsters, Inc., where there will be special interactions with some of the monsters.

For an extra fee, you can enjoy a party within the party. Cruella’s Halloween Hide-A-Way will allow you to stop by at your leisure, have some food, made maybe make some new villainous friends.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights from August 16 through November 1. It is a special ticketed event. Adult costumes are allowed, but there are still guidelines to be followed. I personally can’t wait!
