Wish that you had added the Disney Water Parks to your Annual Pass?Yesterday I told you that some levels of Annual Passholders are going to be eligible for previews of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. That is not all of the news that has been released.
A Bring-a-Friend offer has also been announced. Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Premier Passholders can purchase a one day ticket for a friend for $89, plus tax. The ticket comes with Park Hopper, which makes it an incredible deal. You need to purchase the ticket the day that it is going to be used, and each eligible Passholder can purchase a total of six tickets. This offer runs through August 8.
If your pass doesn’t include the Disney Water Parks and you’re wishing during this hot weather that it did, Disney has you covered. Starting on July 5, Passholders can purchase a Summer Splash Pass for $69, plus tax. That’s the same cost as a one day water park ticket. The Summer Splash Pass will allow you access to both water parks through September 7. Neither offer is available online, you’ll need to head to a ticket window.
These deals reinforce my thought that Disney expects this summer to have lighter crowds than normal. These deals are a great way to get more people into the parks. Don’t forget that there are plenty of other benefits to being an Annual Passholder; everything from discounts to freebies. Annual Passes may be expensive, but they can also be a great value. Mine more than pays for itself.
