Happily Ever After AND Dessert?

There is no doubt that fireworks dessert parties can be a fun extra for any Walt Disney World vacation. You’ll enjoy delectable desserts and beverages, and have the opportunity to view the fireworks from a reserved viewing area. For a while now there have been two choices at the Magic Kingdom; Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace and Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. A third option is about to be thrown into the mix, and there is a twist.

After Fireworks Dessert Party will begin on May 28. What is different about this party is that you will watch the fireworks in a reserved viewing area first, and then head over to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant to dig into the desserts. This is the opposite of the other two parties, where guests eat before the fireworks.

Sweet choices include S’mores Action Station, Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes, and Pineapple Delights. Cheese, crackers, and mini eggrolls are also among the selections. To drink you’ll find sparkling apple cider, coffee, tea, milk, and other choices.

The main fireworks show right now at the Magic Kingdom is Happily Ever After, but there are also special fireworks from time to time. After Fireworks Dessert Party will still be held during the special Independence Day fireworks shows on July 3 and 4, and during both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. There will be holiday themed treats during the parties.

After Fireworks Dessert Party costs $69 per adult, and $41 per child. Reservations will open up online on May 24, or you can call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Dessert parties are quite popular, so if this is a must do for you make sure you have a reservation.
