Astro Orbiter Tomorrowland

A circular ride where guests ride two per car in a spacecraft-type vehicle and fly high above Tomorrowland.

The Barnstormer Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland, must be 35 inches or taller

A family roller coaster featuring The Great Goofini’s stunt plane. It’s a good first coaster for kids.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Frontierland, must be 40 inches or taller

A bumpy roller coaster without any large hills that takes guests through an abandoned mine. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is part of the Magic Kingdom’s “triple mountain threat”.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Tomorrowland

Guests shoot at “Z” targets and try to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg, while getting a high score.

Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial Adventureland

A live show that runs several times daily that features Captain Jack and other pirates. A limited number of children are picked to participate.

Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland

A water play area featuring the train from Dumbo. Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station may not be operational in bad weather or on cool days.

Casey’s Corner Pianist Main Street, U.S.A.

A pianist plays ragtime tunes on a white piano. Look by Casey’s Corner, he’s located right outside it.

Cinderella Castle Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland

Guests can walk through the center of the iconic structure to go from one land to the other. The walls are lined with murals that tell Cinderella’s story.

Citizens of Main Street Main Street, U.S.A.

Keeping with the turn of the century feel, those who live on Main Street come out to sing songs and greet guests. Mayor Weaver, Frances Fermata, Fire Chief Smokey, and Beatrice Starr are just a few of the citizens that might be encountered.

Country Bear Jamboree Frontierland

A 16 minute musical show featuring 18 Audio-Animatronic bears. Country Bear Jamboree was one of the last shows that Walt Disney personally worked on.

The Dapper Dans Main Street, U.S.A.

An old fashioned barber shop quartet with members who are dressed in colorful pinstripes. They sing Disney and Americana songs in perfect harmony.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade starts on Main Street, U.S.A.

See favorite Disney characters and enjoy the music. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is held weather permitting.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland

A Disney Parks classic, guests ride on an elephant’s back in a circular motion. The Magic Kingdom version has two carousels and a fun interactive play area for the queue.

Electrical Water Pageant outside of the main entrance

A water parade that features sea creatures. It then turns to a patriotic theme. Electrical Water Pageant can also be seen from the Magic Kingdom Area resorts.

Enchanted Tales with Belle Enchanted Forest section of Fantasyland

Belle retells her story, with the help of several audience members. After it’s over there could be a chance for pictures with her.

Flag Retreat Main Street, U.S.A.

The Flag Retreat takes place daily at 5:00 at the flag pole in Town Square. The flag is retired for the evening with the help of a guest veteran.

Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade Frontierland

Shoot beams of light instead of bullets at targets in several Old West scenarios. There is an extra fee to play in Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade.

The Hall of Presidents Liberty Square

A film on the history of the presidency is played. That is followed by a role call of all 44 presidents in Audio-Animatronic form.

Happily Ever After park wide

A beautiful fireworks and projections show that is held most evenings. The fireworks can be seen throughout the park, but the projections on Cinderella Castle should be experienced towards the front of the Magic Kingdom.

Haunted Mansion Liberty Square

Ride in a Doom Buggy through the mansion, and encounter “999 happy haunts”. Despite its name, most do not find the ride scary.

“it’s a small world” Fantasyland

A slow boat ride around the world, featuring almost 300 dolls that represent different cultures. The classic song plays throughout.

Jungle Cruise Adventureland

A boat ride through Asia, Africa,and South America. Guests encounter Audio-Animatronic animals, and the skipper tells lots of bad jokes, which are part of the fun.

Let the Magic Begin Main Street, U.S.A.

A short show held on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle right before the park opens for the day. It features Mickey and some of his friends.

Liberty Square Riverboat Liberty Square

Ride on a steam-powered paddle wheeler. The journey takes about 17 minutes, and it is narrated by the words of Mark Twain.

Mad Tea Party Fantasyland

A teacup ride based on Alice in Wonderland. Guests sit in teacups and spin in several different ways. It is not a ride for someone who is prone to motion sickness.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin Adventureland

Ride in a circular motion in a magic carpet. Each carpet seats four people, and there are controls to make it go up and down or back and forth.

Main Street Philharmonic Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland

A marching brass and percussion band. They perform show tunes, big band hits, and even take requests.

Main Street Trolley Show Main Street, U.S.A.

Twelve performers in period costumes show up on a trolley and then dance and sing songs such as Walkin’ Right Down the Middle of Main Street, U.S.A.

Main Street Vehicles Main Street, U.S.A.

Each morning several classic vehicles, including some that are horse drawn, transport guests up and down Main Street, U.S.A. Main Street Vehicles are out only first thing each morning.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Fantasyland

Climb into a Hunny Pot and ride through some of Winnie the Pooh’s stories. There is an interactive queue that is designed to keep little ones busy if the line is long.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic Fantasyland

A 3D movie where Donald Duck travels through several classic Disney animated movies in search of Mickey’s sorcerer’s hat.

Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire Main Street, U.S.A.

A show on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle featuring Mickey, Donald, characters from Frozen, and many more.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Tomorrowland

Guests enter Monstropolis for this live show to help power the city with laughter. The monsters are seen on a screen in the front of the theater, and they interact with the audience. Some audience members will be called on to participate.

Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party Main Street, U.S.A.

Once the party starts there is music and a chance to dance with some popular characters. Look for the gift boxes in front of Cinderella Castle.

The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History Liberty Square

American history as only the Muppets can tell it. It’s held right outside of The Hall of Presidents.

Once Upon a Time Main Street, U.S.A.

Watch Cinderella Castle transform as scenes from several classic Disney movies are played on the icon. Grab a spot to see the show then stay put for Happily Ever After.

Peter Pan’s Flight Fantasyland

Climb into a pirate ship and fly above both London and Never Land. Peter Pan’s Flight is wildly popular and the line grows long quickly. The queue takes guests through the Darling house.

A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas Adventureland

A treasure hunt that takes guests through Adventureland, searching for clues. Collect five cards, and when finished, pick up a sixth card that is signed by Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pirates of the Caribbean Adventureland

A slow moving boat ride through a day in the life of a pirate. The ride was updated several years ago to include Captain Jack Sparrow. There is one very small drop.

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Fantasyland

An old fashioned merry-go-round, with 90 carved horses and one chariot. Prince Charming Regal Carrousel needs to be seen after dark.

The Royal Majesty Makers Fantasyland

The Royal Majesty Makers “teach” guests skills such as swordsmanship and horse riding. The show is heavy on pantomime.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Fantasyland, must be 38 inches or taller

A family friendly roller coaster with a couple of small drops. It is based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and guests go inside the mine and see the dwarfs at work. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is arguably the most popular ride at the Magic Kingdom.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Main Street, U.S.A.

A scavenger hunt game where guests look for 20 Magical Portals throughout the park. Players receive a map and 20 spell cards. Sign up is located in the Main Street, U.S.A. Firehouse.

Space Mountain Tomorrowland, must be 44 inches or taller

Guest climb inside a rocket and blast off into outer space. This roller coaster is in the dark, except for the stars and other celestial bodies. Space Mountain is part of the “triple mountain threat”.

Splash Mountain Frontierland, must be 40 inches or taller

This log flume ride takes guests through the movie Song of the South. It ends with a five story drop that soaks riders. This is the third “triple mountain threat” ride.

Stitch’s Great Escape! Tomorrowland, must be 40 inches or taller

Features Experiment 626 before he met Lilo and calmed down a bit. Guests are locked into their seats and experience multi-sensory effects. Stitch’s Great Escape! is open only on the busiest days of the year.

Swiss Family Treehouse Adventureland

Take a peak inside the tree house based on the classic Swiss Family Robinson. The views are great, but there is a lot of walking.

Tomorrowland Speedway Tomorrowland, must be 32 inches or taller

Guests drive on a track that is less than a mile long at a speed of seven miles per hour. In order to drive, guests must be at least 32 inches tall, and ride with someone who is at least 54 inches tall. Also, all solo riders must be at least 54 inches tall.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Tomorrowland

Often overlooked, the PeopleMover is an overhead electric tram that takes guests high above Tomorrowland. There is also a peak inside both Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Tom Sawyer Island Frontierland

Take a log raft to this island, where guests can walk through Tom Sawyer’s stomping grounds. There is plenty to explore, and there is a lot of walking.

Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid Enchanted Forest section of Fantasyland

Ride in a clam shell under the sea and into the world of The Little Mermaid. Audio-Animatronics retell Ariel’s story.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress Tomorrowland

A 21 minute show in a moving theater in the round. It takes guests through the decades of the 20th century to see how things have changed. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is an attraction from the 1964-1965 World’s Fair, an event that had a large impact on Walt Disney. It’s usually walk on, and should be included on every Walt Disney World vacation.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room Adventureland

A ten minute show featuring Audio-Animatronic birds and more. The show has undergone a few changes throughout the years, and is now close to the original theme.

Walt Disney World Railroad Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Storybook Circus section of Fantasyland

An old fashioned steam train that stops in three different lands. Use it as transportation, or just sit back and enjoy the 20 minute ride around the Magic Kingdom.
