It looks like Disney Park Pass is going to be around for a while. Anyone with a ticket can make reservations for dates through September 26, 2021! Of course plans will change for many people between now and then. I touched on canceling a bit once the system went live. I needed to make a change in my plans today, so I thought I’d talk you through it.
It’s really simple. All that you need to do is to pick the reservation that you need to cancel, find the date, and open the reservation. From there, you’ll hit “cancel”. You will then be instructed to pick which guests you need to cancel for. From there, you will just confirm the cancelation. That’s it!
I needed to cancel because I needed to change days. Unfortunately, you can’t modify at the moment. You will have to cancel a reservation in order to make a new one. At the moment this really is a pain only for Annual Passholders, since we can only hold three reservations at a time, and plenty of dates are full.
If there is a specific date that you want to try for, go ahead and try, even if it isn’t showing up as open in the Availability Calendar. I had a specific date that I wanted to make my new reservation for. It was available earlier in the day, but when I checked the calendar right before making my reservation it was gone. I decided to give it a shot anyway, and low and behold, I got the reservation. I’m not saying that it will always happen (I attempted to make a reservation for a different date and couldn’t get anything), but it is worth a try.
Remember, if you have a reservation that you aren’t going to use, please cancel. You would want other people to do that for you. We have no idea what capacity will be, or how long the number of guests will be limited. It’s important to allow others to have a chance if you aren’t going to be able to go.
