Afternoon Passes for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

Picture opportunity from the show floor

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place August 14-16 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Most tickets sold out the day that they went on sale. There are still a handful of the most expensive D23 Ultimate Fan Pass tickets available. Don’t have a couple of thousand dollars lying around for those tickets? You can still attend.

New in 2026 is the D23 Fan Pass Afternoon Only. The ticket will get you into the Anaheim Convention Center at 4:00. Afternoon Only tickets are still available for all three days of the convention.

Will the Afternoon Only Pass be worth it? They might be, depending on what you want out of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The convention runs until 8:00 each evening. On Friday and Saturday, two of the big panels will take place at The Honda Center at 7:00. That means that thousands of people will leave the Anaheim Convention Center. There will still be panels at the Anaheim Convention Center, as well as shopping and the incredible show floor. There will also be a Disney Rewind Concert each evening. Sounds like a fun way to spend four hours!

The Disney Legends Ceremony will take place at the Honda Center on Sunday at 1:30. After that, some guests will head out, while others will go back to the Anaheim Convention Center. My guess is that Sunday afternoon will get busy at the convention center, since the festivities wrap up with a concert by Alan Menken at 6:00. There are still full day passes available for Sunday, so maybe that’s something you’d want to consider.

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is an incredible experience. I’ve been to the past several, and I’m looking forward to this year. If I couldn’t get full day tickets, I’d definitely consider the Afternoon Pass option.
