Bluey’s Virtual Queue and More

It all starts with a train ride

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is now open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction currently uses a Virtual Queue, and you will not be allowed to experience it without a spot. Here is how this one works:

At 7:00 each morning, the Virtual Queue will open. You can try to grab a spot from anywhere. If your ticket requires Theme Park Reservations, you’ll need them to try for the Virtual Queue. Hop onto the My Disney Experience App a couple of minutes before 7:00 and confirm your party. Then start refreshing about 30 seconds before the queue opens. The spots will be gone in seconds.

The second time the Virtual Queue opens is at 10:00 AM. To join this queue, you must be scanned into Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If you aren’t in the park, you won’t be allowed to join, even if you have a reservation. These spots will be gone in a blink as well.

I have not yet visited Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, so I can’t tell much about it. I decided not to try for a Virtual Queue when I was there, so that I wouldn’t potentially take the chance from a Bluey fan.

What I can tell you is that it is not a meet and greet. Yes, you’ll see Bluey and Bingo, but it’s more of a show than a character greeting. From what I understand, you’ll wait in a line to see that show, so you might go through a couple of cycles before you’re close up. That’s important to know if you’re visiting with Bluey fans.

Looking for Bluey merchandise? There is plenty for sale in Island Mercantile in the front of the park.

One more thing. Don’t promise the kids that they will see Bluey and Bingo before you know for sure that you have a spot in the Virtual Queue. Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station is easy to pass by without the kids noticing. It’s better to surprise them than to disappoint them.
