Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue is the Cool Kids’ Summer offering at the Magic Kingdom. But what exactly is it? Since Jessie’s Roundup takes place inside The Diamond Horseshoe, many assumed that it was a character meal. That’s not it at all.

The Golden Horseshoe is not currently serving meals. Instead, a rip-roarin’ good time is being served! Jessie’s Roundup is a fun place for the kids to play games, dance, and maybe have fun with some characters. The adults will have a good time as well. The air conditioning is a bonus!

When I went to Jessie’s Roundup, there were two different segments. The first featured a guitar playing cowboy named Dusty Strings. He introduced Bullseye! I have never seen Bullseye in the parks before! Dusty led a few songs, including The Horseshoe Stomp. Part of the time they were on the stage, but both Dusty and Bullseye headed out into the crowd of kids.

A few minutes after Dusty and Bullseye, the second segment started. It features Jessie and Woody, the Toy Story 5 versions. Jessie taught everyone to yodel, with Woody’s help. Again, part of their segment was on the stage, and part mingling in the crowd.

In between the characters there was more entertainment. The Roundup Ropers showed off their jump roping skills, and had some of the kids join in on the fun.

Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue is very well done. It’s a lot like GoofyCore at Epcot. There are places for the adults to sit, but, of course, they’re more than welcome to join in on the fun. Cool Kids’ Summer runs through September 8.

Also, remember that Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue is at the Magic Kingdom. Some people have confused it with Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
