There are two pieces of good news from the Magic Kingdom. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will reopen on April 8! The ride has been closed since last August for a major update, and it sounds like it will be pretty cool.
The second reopening announcement is a little more vague. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is scheduled to reopen in “early May”. The Walt Disney World website still says Spring, the May news was shared on Disney Parks Blog. The exact reopening date was not given. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been closed since January, 2025.
