Cold Florida weather can affect more than just the Walt Disney World Water Parks. The rides were built with hot weather in mind. Some of them may not open if Disney does not think that they will operate safely. Also, outdoor shows may be cancelled when the temperature dips too much. This is for the safety of the performers and the comfort of the audience.
