Santa is taking a well deserved vacation after all the festivities leading up to Christmas Eve. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t “replacement Santas” at Walt Disney World! I’m currently blocked out, but WDW News Today visited all four theme parks on Christmas Day. Here is what they shared.
Santa Stitch has taken over Santa’s spot at the Magic Kingdom. He’s located in Storybook Circus, near the back of the park.
We already knew that Santa Goofy would continue at Epcot. He’s greeting in the Odyssey Building. The last official day of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is December 30, so I’m not sure if he’ll be there on December 31.
There’s a surprise at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The past two years, Santa Duffy took over once Santa flew home. This year, it looks like it’s Santa Goofy instead. He’s meeting in the back of Walt Disney Presents. I know that some Duffy fans are not happy about this, but it was never announced that Santa Duffy would be around after Disney Jollywood Nights. I guess we shouldn’t assume anything when it comes to Walt Disney World.
Santa Goofy is busy these days. He’s also found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. He’s taken over the spot on the back porch of Restaurantosaurus.
There is no information on any of these meet and greets on the Walt Disney World website, at least none that I could find. I also didn’t find anything on the My Disney Experience App, except for the generic Goofy greeting at Epcot.
