Here is the New Year’s Eve schedule for the Walt Disney World theme parks. Remember, theme parks can and sometimes do hit capacity. If you plan to watch the fireworks, arrive early and stay. New Year’s Eve isn’t the day to try the four park challenge!
Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00 AM on December 31, and will remain open until 1:00 AM. Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will run at noon and 3:00 PM. Disney Starlight will take place at 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM. Disney Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will run at 7:30 PM, and then ring in the New Year at 11:50 PM.
Epcot will open at 8:00 AM on December 31, and will remain open until 1:00 AM. Luminous The Symphony of Us will take place at 6:30. Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will start at 11:54 PM.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open at 9:00 AM on December 31, and will remain open until midnight. Fantasmic will take place at 6:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:30 PM. New Year Countdown Fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will take place at 11:57 PM.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will open at 8:00 AM on December 31, and will remain open until 7:00 PM. There are no fireworks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM on December 31. Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed for its annual refurbishment. Disney Springs will be open from 10:00 AM until 11:30 PM.
