Florida Residents: A New Ticket Offer to Plan Your 2024 Walt Disney World Trip
by Victoria Zicari, Communications Specialist at Walt Disney World Public Affairs
As much as I love the hustle and bustle of the holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth, I’m ready to kick off the new year. If you’re dreaming up your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort, there’s a new 2024 ticket offer just for Florida residents.
Get a Deal on Disney World Tickets — Even on Weekends!
Available to purchase starting Jan. 11, experience the thrills at Disney World with a 2-day ticket for $199 (plus tax). If you’ve got an extra day to extend the magic, a 3-day ticket is just $219 (plus tax). This special Florida resident ticket is valid for use beginning Jan. 11 through March 15, 2024 (even on the weekends!) with an advance park reservation.* This early 2024 ticket offer gives our Florida friends the flexibility to pick the dates and parks that work best for their trip. Pick a day, make your park reservation, and pack your ears! For everything you need to know about the Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket including proof of residency, add-ons like Park Hopper, and other ticket details, visit DisneyWorld.com.
Belt Out Iconic Broadway Songs at a Limited-Time Festival
The trees and wreaths may be safely stowed away by our cast members, but one of my favorite festivals takes center stage for a limited time. From Jan. 12 through Feb. 19, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is alive with art, unique food offerings around the park, and Disney on Broadway performances. Check out the full line up and catch me front row tearing up to Caissie Levy and Patti Murin (Broadway’s original Elsa and Anna!) singing Frozen favorites on select dates.
Catch Up on What’s New When the Weather is Awesome
By January, most people are back at work, the kids are back in school, and that can only mean one thing: when is your next vacation? If you didn’t have a chance to experience some of the incredible new offerings and attractions in 2023 — now is an awesome time to go to Disney World. My favorite new things you must do at the parks: at EPCOT explore the lush trails of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, or be wowed at the new nighttime spectacular, Luminous The Symphony of Us. If you’re feeling adventurous, enter the grid at Magic Kingdom’s TRON Lightcycle / Run. Not to miss out on the Disney nostalgia during a trip, I always pay a visit to a can’t-miss classic like the Indiana Jones™ Epic Stunt Spectacular! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or try to spot Okapi among the trees at Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Whether you plan your Disney World trip for a weekend getaway or want to become a regular at the parks with a Florida resident Annual Pass, there’s never been a better time for Florida residents to experience the magic in 2024.
*One theme park per day. Reservations are limited and subject to availability of reservations allocated to this ticket as determined by Disney, and park capacity.
