Starting on January 9, 2024, theme park guests who purchase date-based tickets will no longer need Disney Park Pass Reservations. That means that for most people, the Disney Park Pass system will be a thing of the past. So what tickets will require reservations? Annual Passholders and Cast Members will still need Disney Park Pass Reservations, although we’ve been promised “good-to-go days” when they won’t be required. The other tickets that will need them will be various types of group tickets such as convention, sport, or student group tickets. Comp tickets are probably also on the list, but were not mentioned by Walt Disney World.
