You can walk to the Magic Kingdom from Disney’s Contemporary Resort If you’re staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, use the walking path to the Magic Kingdom. It’s a short walk, just keep in mind that you’ll be crossing traffic. You cannot park at the Contemporary and walk to the Magic Kingdom if you’re not staying there, so don’t think this is a way to avoid paying the parking fee. If you’re at the Magic Kingdom and have a dining reservation at the Contemporary, take advantage of the walking path. It will take less time than waiting for the monorail.
