Photo courtesy DisneyDisney Parks Blog has shared two pieces of good news. Both are vague. One announcement has to do with a popular restaurant reopening. The other isn’t a reopening, it’s more of a returning announcement.
Update: Victoria & Albert’s will reopen on July 28!
I’ll start with the restaurant reopening. Victoria & Albert’s is reopening…sometime. In a recent Best Bites post on Disney Parks Blog Nicole Cantore shared the following:
You’ve likely been wondering when Victoria & Albert’s would be opening its doors once again at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and I am very pleased to share that this beloved favorite will be coming back later this year. While we don’t have specifics right now, stay tuned for updates to come!
It’s not much, but after learning that Spirit of Aloha and ESPN Club will not reopen, I’ll take any good news that I can get!
The second bit of vague news is that H2O Glow Nights will return to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! This was also shared on Disney Parks Blog. You’ll have to watch the video for the announcement, it’s right after the 24 or 25 minute mark. I’ve added the video at the bottom of this post.
We don’t know when H2O Glow Nights will return, or what the cost will be. The special ticketed event is back on the Walt Disney World website. You’ll have the unique opportunity to see the water park after dark. In the past, there were Toy Story characters, a DJ, special lighting, and more.
In previous years, H2O Glow Nights was a summer event. I assume that’s when it will return this year. There should be more information soon, I’ll let you know once it’s released.
